Cool Dog - Dairy-free Ice Cream For Dogs Launches At TVK (Tyson Approved)
A new artisan and lactose-free ice cream just for dogs, has launched in the The Vegan Kind.

The new Cool Dog Ice Cream is a lactose-free blueberry and banana favoured doggy ice cream. It's made using 100% natural ingredients and antioxidant superfoods (fresh bananas and fresh blueberries). It's also lactose-free to prevent any digestion issues.
The vegan ice cream contains no artificial colours or flavours, and is a good source of protein to support your dog's energy. It is packed with optimum vitamins and minerals such as potassium, zinc and calcium which all dogs need. Is provides calcium and Vitamin D for strong teeth. Potassium is there to help muscle function and zinc for a healthy coat.
Cool Dog Doggy Ice Cream is the only FSA-approved dog ice cream (Food Standards Agency Approval and Trading Standard) under agreement to be marketed as an ‘ice cream’, rather than a frozen treat. Additionally, the product comes in a fully compostable packaging!
The brand was founded by Don Thaw. He brought the product to market to cater for pups who develop an intolerance to lactose – the natural sugar found in milk – after weaning. When fed a product containing dairy, adult dogs will often react by having digestive upsets. Cool Dog lets canines to enjoy a summer dessert treat that’s healthy and won’t upset their digestion.
Cool Dog Doggy Ice Cream is available online with a frozen delivery from The Vegan Kind, priced at £2.50. It is approved by Tyson (TVK barketing manager) and it is suitable for humans, too!
