Company Offers Meat-Eaters £2,000 To Go Vegan For A Month

VeganLiftz offers £2,000 to three meat-lovers each to try a vegan diet for 30 days.

The company will use candidates' experiences to show case to its readers how following a plant-based diet influences their health and fitness. 

There is only one condition for the candidates - they must be currently living in one of the top five most carnivorous areas of the country.

Recently, the company conducted a nationwide survey of more than 4,500 adults to indicate which areas of the UK are the most carnivorous. The study found that Newcastle is the top meat-eating city in the country, with over five in six inhabitants (84 per cent) confirming they eat meat daily. The other top meat-loving cities in are: Glasgow, Birmingham, Liverpool and London.

Candidates are required to have eaten a meat-heavy diet daily for at least a year.

The chosen applicants will have to complete a health and fitness check before and after the study and will receive a 100 per cent vegan diet plan for 30 days. The carnivores must follow their normal everyday routines. The only change in their lifestyle that is permitted during the project is the plant-based diet.  They must be aged between 18 to 60 years old, have no significant diseases such as obesity, diabetes, or hyperthyroidism.

The company plans to begin the project in mid-September.
