Caffè Nero Is Launching Entire Veganuary Menu

Caffè Nero is not only the first high street coffee shop to offer vegan croissants but also the first to launch a whole new vegan menu. The coffee chain has introduced the brand new 'Veganero' menu today, with breakfast, lunch and dessert options.

 The new menu will be one sale from 8 January and will feature brand new vegan products including croissants and vegan sausage rolls. 

 The company says the menu has been created in response to growing customer demand for vegan options.

CEO at Caffè Nero UK, Will Stratton-Morris, said: "We're committed to offering our customers more choice and the deliciously good food they deserve, whether that is an indulgent treat that hits the sweet spot or a hearty lunch."

Here's the new 'Veganero' menu:

New Vegan 'Sausage' Roll - £3.45

Roasted butternut squash, courgette and sweet potato in vegan puff pastry.

New Vegan Raspberry Croissant - £1.95

Freshly baked, the new vegan croissant is made in the same way as the fine butter croissant, with same proofing and resting times, only with a combination of natural oils instead.

New Vegan Salted Caramel and Chocolate Cheesecake - £3.10

The cheese has been replaced with a blend of non-dairy soft cheese and coconut milk.

New Vegan 'Meatball' Panini - £4.45

Vegan meatballs with a rich tomato ragu, vegan cheese, mayo and spinach.

New Vegan Sweetcorn Fritter with Chutney Coleslaw Flatbread - £3.95

Sweetcorn fritters with coleslaw, San Marzano tomato chutney and rocket in a flatbread.

New Vegan Mushroom, Tomato and Potato Rosti Ciabatta - £3.70

Portobello and chestnut mushrooms with a crispy potato Rosti, tomato and spinach.

Vegan Porridge

Made fresh to order with plant-based milk.

Vegan Deli Sandwich - £5.25

Sweet potato, spicy began mayonnaise and Smokey tomatoes on Italian pane Pugliese bread.
