Burger King's menu just got a thousand times better!
As curry is one of the Brits' favourite flavours, Burger King is launching a new curry range with Japanese (and vegan) twist.
The range will feature two vegan options: Vegan Katsu Royale and and Katsu Chilli Whopper. The fast food chain claims they taste just like the real thing!
Vegan Katsu Royale features a vegan royale patty made with plant-based chicken alternative, katsu curry sauce, pickled slaw, crispy onions and vegan mayo between a long sesame seed bun.
Plant-Based Katsu Chilli Whopper comes with two plant-based Whopper patties, Katsu curry sauce, pickle saw, crispy onions and chilli sauce between a sesame seed bun.
Commenting on the launch, Katie Evans from Burger King UK said: “We know Katsu curry is one of the nation’s favourite flavours, so we can’t wait for people to try these twists on our classic Whopper and Royale. We’re promising new specials that max on flavour, with vegan and vegetarian options that taste almost identical.”
Katsu Chicken Royale is priced £6.29 for a sandwich £8.29 for a meal.
Initially, the Katsu range will be available until September 2022.
