Barking Heads Launched A Nutritionally Balanced Plant-based Food For Dogs

Woof Woof! This news will get some tails wagging! Barking Heads have created a new fully balanced plant-based dog food. 

Barking Heads team research found out that one in five of its dog owners add fresh or cooked vegetables to their dog’s food. 

TV Vet and Barking Heads expert, Dr Scott Miller, said: "We estimate that 1 in 5 of you are already adding fresh or cooked veg to your dog’s food, and some of you are occasionally feeding plant-based meals. The company worked closely with dog diet experts to make humans life easier and create a complete vegan dog food with added vitamins and minerals and the right amount of protein.

According to Mintel research conducted amongst UK dog food buyers found that 43% believe it is healthier to limit the amount of red meat eaten by their pets. 34% believe it is good for pets to regularly enjoy a plant-based meal.
