#BakeMeVegan Competition has reached its final stage and now it’s down to you to choose the winner!

The six finalists’ entries have been posted to the @holylamaspicedrops Instagram feed. To vote you can simply like and comment on your favourite vegan cake. Vote as many times as you like and share with your friends. The entry with the most likes and comments by midnight on Thursday 19 August wins to competition.

The vegan baking competition is a collaboration between Holy Lama Spice Drops and The Vegan Society to help promote plant-based baking and encourage traditional cooks to incorporate vegan recipes into their daily creations. Fifteen bakers were invited to take part and were given a box of vegan goodies including a selection of Spice Drops to create amazing vegan cakes from them.  The six finalists were shortlisted live on Instagram by The Cake Whisperer herself Great British Bake Off’s Val Stones, Tom from popular blog, Project Vegan Baking and Ericka Durgahee from the Vegan Society.

Gouri Kubair, MD of Holy Lama Spice Drops said: “We never expected such incredible edible creations to be submitted! All 15 entrants excelled themselves and demonstrated how delicious vegan baking can be; we were overwhelmed by the quality of their entries. It’s nearly impossible to choose a winner in my view, which is why we have passed the job over to our faithful followers who use Spice Drops in their daily cooking and know what can be achieved. Good luck to our six finalists – you are all worthy winners.”

The six bakers going forward to the final vote with their delectable delicacies are: @Kitseats – White Chocolate & Caramel Ice Cream Tart, @nipacooks – Vegan Ice Cream Trifle Cake, @hamletsbakery – Vegan, Wholemeal Spelt Flour Danish Pastries with a Vegan Caramelised White Chocolate, Cardamom, Saffron and Lemons Zest Crème Patisserie, @sonalicooks – Rose Chocolate Cake with Cardamom Meringues, Raspberries on an Apple Crisp Biscuit Base, @cocolico – Oriental Millefeuille, @veganpriya – Madeleine Charlotte Mousse Cake, topped with a Biscuit Carousel.
