Artisan Food Company Invests £63 Million To Built A Vegan Factory

UK major artisan food company Finnebrogue has announced it would invest £63 million in a new 300,000 square foot plant-based food dedicated facility. 

The Downpatrick-based company says it will produce the "next generation" of vegan products and create 340 jobs for the local community.

The brand launched a new range of 'game-changing' plant-based products, earlier this year.

Commenting on the investment, Denis Lynn, Finnebrogue chairman, said: "We believe in producing gorgeous food which is good for you and for the planet."

"That's why we made bacon without nitrites or any other nasties — and why we decided to look at what was wrong with veggie food to see how we could make it the best it could be, without being bound by the way it has always been done."
