9-Year-Old Boy Challenges President Trump to Go Vegan!

This young vegan activist, known as Vegan Evan wants to make a deal with President Trump. He has challenged the American President to go vegan for one month – in return for $1 million donated to veterans. 

"President Trump: I'm Evan, president of Animal Hero Kids, and I'd like to make you an offer. We will give $1 million to the veterans if you go vegan for a month" he says in his video. The video was posted by a nonprofit, Million Dollar Vegan, the organization that would donate the money. The campaign follows a series of advertisements on billboards, television spots and magazines.

Evan is a 9-year-old boy from Melbourne, Florida. He is passionate about animal rights and eats only vegan food himself. He has been vegan since the age of 5 and loves everything about it. “I like that you can eat a meal and animals don’t have to be hurt and the planet doesn’t have to be hurt,” he said. 

He points out that it's a win-win: "We want to make America healthy again, and eating plant-based foods is a great place to start," he says. "Our veterans get one million dollars, and you get to eat great plant-based food. Mr President, do we have a deal?"

Trump demonstrated his support to veterans during his presidential campaign and on many different occasions. Will he support this special cause?  President Trump, as a lover of fast food, is one of the last people you'd expect to try a vegan diet.  As a matter of fact, he doesn't have put his love for fast-food burgers aside. These days, almost all the traditional fast-food restaurants offer a plant-based version of his beloved meal. He could only benefit from switching to a  more healthy lifestyle. Trying a vegan diet for a month could only improve his health. Many scientists confirm that a plant-based diet can prevent, treat and even reverse many serious diseases. “It’s really good for your body,” Evan said of the plant-based diet, “It helps you every day, and you can wake up and feel amazing.” 

The White House has not responded to the challenge so far but has time until December 31 to do so. Let's wait and see.
