Vegan Food & Living magazine published the results of The Big Vegan Survey 2019.
More than 8300 people from all over the UK had completed the survey in October. The idea was to find out more about the people who went vegan, what products they like, what products they don’t like, where they do their shopping and what their favourite supermarket is.
From the results we learnt that 11% of the UK vegans buy online. We are also happy and delighted that the readers of the magazine classed TheVeganKind for the best online experience. That convince us that we have the best customers in the UK. <3
Who are the British vegans and why did they go vegan?
In general 71% indicates animal welfare as the main reason for going vegan. However, recently the environment has become more important - 39% said the environment was their biggest motivation. For 36% health is the most important reason to change diet.

Do they go to popular fast food chains?
The results of The Big Vegan Survey 2019, presented by Vegan Food & Living, are based on 8300 people who completed the full survey.
